FOOTBALL FINALLY GONE NUTS AS POGBA SIGNS ON THE DOTTED LINE

The game of football is surely breaking the financial ceilings without much ado following a transfer that has broken the previous record of highest ever fee paid for a player, less than three years ago.

Manchester United has finally completed the transfer of Frenchman Paul Pogba for a mind boggling world record £89m transfer. The 23-year-old midfielder returns after four years away, having left United in 2012 for £1.5m to Juventus who will surely be smiling to the bank because of an £87.5m profit on their investment.United will pay the Italian champions £4.5m in performance-related bonuses, and other costs, including £4.2m if Pogba signs a new contract.
The fee surpasses the £85m Real Madrid paid Tottenham for Wales forward Gareth Bale in 2013.
